Donnie Dodge: The basic idea is simple, introduce people to an era of Nebraska Football history that has been forgotten.
Q: How do you handle the Pre-Production, and Post Production?
Donnie Dodge: Pre- production was hundreds of hours of research. Diving down the rabbit hole of online, yearbook and in person research. The post- production went very quickly. The editing took less than a month.

Q: What is the best possible way to promote your film when you are on a tight budget?
Donnie Dodge: Podcasts, social media, farmers markets and craft fairs. My sneaky advertising, I printed up 4 x 6 magnets of the poster with the website on it. Everywhere I go I take a stack of them, I leave then inside the stalls in sports bars, at walmarts, gas stations. Surprisingly it seems to work really well.
Q: When your next film is coming and what is it about?
Donnie Dodge: My next film came out March of 2021. It follows the life of the Quarterback form THIS film. I had so much information in researching All the King’s Men, it seemed the natural fit to tell the story of Leon “Jerry” Warner in Dual Threat- Football & Family.
Q: What advice do you want to give to the new and upcoming filmmakers?
Donnie Dodge: Once you find a story, you found that story for a reason. Do that person justice and make sure their story never disappears.
