Q: What is the basic Idea Behind the film?
Evgeny Krylov: The basic idea behind the film «Don’t cry» is - the death is not the end.
Q: How do you handle the Pre-Production, and Post Production?
Evgeny Krylov: I made the film on my own, so I was free in time, I handle every step of the Production very careful.
Q: What do you do to stay calm during Production of the film?
Evgeny Krylov: Meditation and prey.
Q: What sort of stories excites you?
Evgeny Krylov: I am concerned about great topics: life, death, love, compassion and so on.
Q: Do you think all the good stories have already been made into a movie?
Evgeny Krylov: I think that every person is a potential story, so not all stories have already been made in films.
Q: While casting for your film you prefer to cast a well known face or any new face which fit the character?
Evgeny Krylov: I'm not interested in actors, I'm interested in deep personalities.
Q: What is the most enjoyable thing about Production of the film?
Evgeny Krylov: Sound design and music.
Q: What is the best possible way to promote your film when you are on a tight budget?
Evgeny Krylov: I don’t know.
Q: When your next film is coming and what is it about?
Evgeny Krylov: The new film will be released in 2022. This is a documentary about a popular Russian rock musician.
Q: What advice do you want to give to the new and upcoming filmmakers?
Evgeny Krylov: Be yourself, make your own cinema, be attentive to life and all its manifestations, bring light and hope with your films.
